Biography

Edward J. Vigneau, E.A., M.S.P.A., M.A.A.A.
Actuary & Principal, TLC Pension Consulting
 
Ed Vigneau has thirty years of pension actuarial and consulting experience. An Enrolled Actuary since 1978, he has earned experience both at insurance companies and at consulting firms. He did his actuarial training at Travelers Insurance Company and Aetna Life Insurance. For five years he worked at Buck Consultants on both Fortune 500 and small pension plans; and since 1985 he has specialized in providing comprehensive pension solutions to the owners of small businesses.

Broadly experienced in defined contribution, 401(k) and defined benefit pension plans, he has a special expertise in the sophisticated use of defined benefit pension plans as tax planning and deferment vehicles.

Mr. Vigneau's resume includes teaching professional courses for CPA's and the American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is a past president of the Pension Council of Long Island, Inc.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, he is active in community and is a board member and treasurer for an association of churches on Long Island. He lives in Huntington with his wife and three children
